Kerala Law Academy Law College removes gate, but what about the eatery?
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Law Academy Law College (KLALC) on Saturday removed the gate to its campus, which was built on government land. This followed a notice issued by the Kerala Revenue Department.
A report by revenue secretary P H Kurian found that KLALC had built the gate on government land leading to the Kerala Water Authority’s property. This piece of land should not have been used for any construction as the Water Authority’s pipeline passes underneath the property, Kurian reported.
However, KLALC removed the iron gate on Saturday, the pillars were yet to be demolished.
